Allergy Advice 

This year we have a child with a severe dairy allergy causing  anaphylaxis in Key Stage 1.

Please do not be offended if we ask your child to get changed due to spillages of food during the day or if we ask your child to change on arrival at the start of their day. 

For this reason  a full change of clothes must always left on your child's peg and remain in school. (this does not have to be school uniform)

PE Days

Monday Afternoon  - Tag Rugby (with Mr Barnes) 

Tuesday Morning - Dance 

For PE please send children into school in their PE kit which should consist of black shorts, leggings or tracksuit bottoms, house colour top and trainers. Your child will also need a water bottle filled with water. 

Forest School

2C will have forest school on Tuesday Afternoons 

Children in group 1 will receive an email about Forest School including dates and clothing required. They will complete a 10 week block.

Children in group 2 will complete a unit of work in DT, you will receive a letter with more information.

Book Bags - Reading 

In 2C book bags will go on home on Fridays to be returned on Tuesdays.

Your child will bring home the book they have read in school, they have read this book three times with adult support during the week. The purpose of bringing it home is to increase their fluency. Rereading is a proven way to increase their confidence in applying their phonic knowledge. They will also bring home a reading for pleasure book, this is a book for you to read to them.  If your child would like extra books to read please speak to a member of staff or make a note in their reading diary. 

Maths - Key Instant Recall Facts (KIRFs)
